Leda's Swan Gone, 2024. Mangiardi.art
John Mangiardi is a Westhampton Beach–based painter whose vivid oil works are rooted in personal observation, global events, and lived experiences.
A former neurosurgeon, Mangiardi studied at the Art Students League in the late 1980s while living in SoHo at the height of the Basquiat and Warhol era—an atmosphere that deeply shaped his creative instincts. Drawn to oils for their richness and visceral texture, his layered compositions reflect a life spent studying complexity, both in the body and in the world.
“Oils offer the vibrance and physicality I needed—moist, visceral, alive.” – Mangiardi

LIAR, Robert Ricov
Robert Ricov (b. 1973, Sydney, Australia) is a Croatian-based painter whose evocative oil works explore themes of longing, loss, and memory through a style he calls surreal maximalist realism.
Since relocating to Croatia in 2022, Ricov has become known for richly symbolic, figurative paintings that navigate the tension between beauty and chaos, nostalgia and desire.
“Humankind is both beautiful and ugly, clean and dirty, and so I paint in oils—a greasy medium, but always on a clean canvas.” - Ricov
Joy II. Mrs. Toolip
Mrs. Toolip (b. 1990, Aukland, New Zealand) is a Barcelona-based abstract artist and curator whose fluid, emotive paintings reflect an intimate dialogue with color, texture, and natural forms.
Raised in a family of international art collectors, her earliest inspirations came from wandering global art fairs. These experiences seeded her fearless and emotionally driven approach to creation. In 2021 she founded Toolip Art Gallery, which has since hosted over 500 artists across shows in Barcelona, Vienna, and Budapest.
